• One hour and a half of instruction.
• Each session will include instruction on the basic golf swing and juniors will be familiarized with the different golf clubs.
• Chipping and putting will be emphasized and juniors will be introduced to the par 3 course during the last two sessions.
• The final session features a 2-hole tournament on the Par-3 course. Awards will be given to low scores and the most courageous students. Mementos will be presented to all students.
• Class size is from 5 to 8 students.
• Students receive a junior golf cap.
• Four dates per session, plus a rain date if necessary.
• There is no provision for a missed class.
• Students may receive instruction only in their chosen group on its dates and times.
Fee: $235.00 payable upon sign-up. Sign-up deadline is 1 week before the first class.
U.S. KIDS Junior Golf Clubs Available:
Each student is required to have their own properly sized golf clubs. We suggest a putter, pitching wedge, #7 iron, #4 hybrid, and either a #3 wood or a driver, with a golf bag, balls and tees. Golf gloves and U.S. Kids junior sets are available from the Zigfield Troy Golf Shop.

Refunds:
$225.00 up to 7 days before the first class.
$117.50 after 7 days and up to 48 hours before the start of the first class.
No refunds within 48 hours of the start of the first class.
Changing Classes:
There is a $117.50 charge to change from a class where the sign-up deadline has passed.
Rain Dates:
Rain Dates are used only if a day is rained out. Rain Dates are at the usual time. There is no provision for a missed class.
Helpful Registration tips
These classes are very popular and many fill-up within minutes after opening registration on the 15th. To have the best chance at getting the class you want, we urge you to be prepared ahead of time by checking your Active.com account. Or set-up an account if you haven’t already.
• Be sure you know your account ID and password and test it on Active.com
• Be sure to have your child/children on your account with their names, date of birth, etc. This is very important as you won’t need to spend time entering the information on registration day.
• Be sure to have your credit card information up to date and entered into your account. Once again, this is a very important time saver.
• Use the filters along the left-hand side of the screen to see just the age group(s) you want. You can filter by date and time, too. Very helpful! The classes will be organized and listed on the screen in chronological order.
• Active tells us that once you choose a class and put it in your shopping cart, you have 15 minutes to complete registration, or you’ll lose the class/classes. We recommend working efficiently and quickly so as not to test the limits of the Acitve.com timer.
• You will be able to choose multiple classes, place them in a shopping cart and then pay for everything in one transaction.
• You can register more than one child at the same time, too.
• At the end of your registration, you’ll be asked to join Active’s Club. Be sure to click “No Thanks.”
Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email.
Waiting List
If you are unsuccessful getting into a class, it’s a good idea to get placed on the Waiting List. You’ll be able to do this during the registration process. (There is no fee to get on the list.) Waiting List participants do have a chance to get into a class, especially in July. When an opening occurs, we will email you with an invitation to join the class.
